Jill Nesi

Jill Nesi is an Emmy-nominated singer, songwriter, composer, and Executive Producer. She is known for her work on The Vita 4 Healthy Lifestyle for Kids (2005), Ethan Song (2021), and the musical Stand Up & Speak Out. 

Background: 
Nesi is a self-taught musician who has written music for nearly her entire life.

  • She has written theme songs and jingles for various organizations and clients, including television stations in Connecticut and Atlanta, Georgia
  • Nesi was motivated to create The Vita 4 by the growing obesity epidemic.

Fun Fact: Jill's daughter, Jordan, composed the song Never Give Up for the musical.

Kayleigh is a Louisiana native, a passionate creative, a dedicated volunteer, and a lifelong learner. She has studied drama at Yale and psychology at LSU and the University of Hartford, and has performed productions like Mary Poppins, Grease, and Stand Up Speak Out. Kayleigh is thrilled to continue her role as Creative Director with SUSO after a successful 2025 regional tour. She dedicates herself to creating a kinder, more curious, and compassionate community through collaboration and creative expression. Whether on stage, in the classroom, or through her volunteer work with crisis hotlines, the FISH food pantry, and domestic violence centers, Kayleigh is driven by a deep belief in the power of connection and kindness to transform lives.

Wayne is a two-time Emmy Award winner whose work spans some of the most recognizable brands in entertainment, including Martha Stewart Living, Disney, and Food Network. He has served as a writer, producer, director, and showrunner on hundreds of hours of television, helped launch iconic shows and personalities, and produced award-winning films seen worldwide.

In addition to his extensive screen career, Wayne has a deep passion for storytelling that creates impact—especially stories that empower young people. His work blends heart, humor, and truth, making him uniquely suited to lead Stand Up Speak Out as it continues to grow as both a musical and an educational movement.
